Al Gore Steps Up

"A president who breaks the law is a threat to the very structure of our government." Former Vice President Al Gore

President Bush is out of control. Our personal freedoms are more at stake now than ever in America's history.

Among other things, Internet surfing as we know it will be tracked by what the FBI calls a "nonintrusive method." The FBI says we will not notice any difference.

Judge for yourself: FBI Eyes. Clever as it is, it represents how some people are treated by our government all the time. For no rational or legal reason.

Read the text of Al Gore's speech at Constitutional Hall in Washington, DC Monday. It's a clarion call to stop the insanity.

And it's no laughing matter.

Of course, Bush and the rest of his Right Wingnut crowd are going ballistic. Ultra conservative pundits and Bloggers are howling.

Let them. They're just blowing the same putrid smoke as always.

I voted for Al Gore and my vote was stolen. I've waited--not so patiently--for someone to step up and join the courageous John Murtha in calling Bush and his henchmen out. Al Gore came through, with a vengeance.

I'm with BuzzFlash. Thank you, Al.

Sally--your vote was stolen if you voted for Kerry, too. I have delineated over and over in my blog the excellent research done by reporters and of course, John Conyers, that shows how the fix was on in the last 2 presidential elections. The leadership lacking in the democratic party is starting to be filled by the likes of Murtha. While Gore and Hillary are easy marks for the right, the citizens will not long stand for much nonsense. Mainstream Media rules the public mindset, but even Lincoln knew you can't fool all the people all the time.
