Democrats Try to Bump It Up
DSCC Bump Up Our Majority
"The key question I have is ... is this more than slogans and broad actions?" Brian Johnson
The Democratic Senate Campaign Committee is holding a contest to find the most inspirational bumper sticker for the 2008 elections.
They've narrowed it down to four and are now asking us to vote on the best one.
Before I vote I'd just like to say ... Eh.
They call the contest Bump Up Our Majority. Which, if you think about it, is better than any of the finalists so far.
But that's Dems for you. Overlook the practicality under your nose while scanning the ideological horizon. The slogan should at least reflect the substance of the campaign message.
Anyway, here they are:
When Democrats Win
We All WinAnti-Bush, Pro-America
Democrats in 08The Bush Right Is Wrong
Vote For Democrats
You can vote here: DSCC Bump Up Our Majority. But not for mine.
