Today is Flag Day. And my birthday. Age-wise, I'm a Boomer, just leave it at that, okay?

Otherwise, it's getter harder and harder to celebrate anything in today's world.

But I'll try today. For my family. For myself.

My husband is giving me--finally!--a walk-in closet. (The contractors start Monday.) My son will give me a unique, beautiful pin. It's a tradition we have.

I'll get calls, emails, cards, flowers. And a nice night on the town.
