TEAM KAREN - ROCKIN' FOR LIFE!
Karen Fern Anderson 5.20.1962 - 8.27.2010
My courageous niece Karen fought Melanoma with all she had. I wrote about her valiant battle a lot. I wish there was nothing left to say except: Cured!
Someday, for others ... until then:
The beginning of her incredible journey is described here: KAREN ANDERSON.

RIP Karen
Just stumbled across your blog. I recently lost my husband to melanoma. He had had a couple of scalp lesions removed in 2008 and 2009, told all was clear, then in June 2010 a scan for something else showed tumors in lungs, liver, and brain. Three months later he was dead at the age of 55, 6 weeks before our 1st wedding anniversary.
Melanoma sucks. Hugs to you and your family.
Liz, I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Sending healing thoughts to you and yours too.
We have a Facebook page called Team Karen where you can see the logo and slogan I designed about melanoma. We made t-shirts and set up a fund for her children. If you want to raise money or honor your husband with any or all of the designs, feel free to customize.
